The last minutes of the Greek Radio: «These microphones close. Deep Soul!»

The broadcaster Nikos Tsimpidas, when he was forced to leave the studio after police’s orders (policemen were inside the studio at that time) said:

«Now it’s the time that we stop dear listeners … The voice of the Greek Radio mutes! Good continuation … see you soon … we will meet again soon … These microphones close. Deep Soul».

You can hear their two-way radios, I imagine they are on air, the time is 5:32am.

Here in the studio of the Greek Radio, from the Radio Hall of Aghia Paraskevi, where you can listen to us from all over Greece, we continue this transmission under the gaze of the police, these last minutes [ …]

( – Yes the things outside are mine, the backpack and the sleeping bag … The microphone is open guys, whoever wants can talk  … )

 And a policeman in civilian clothes is recording with a camera, new customs, new methods …

 So now [ …] but also two squads of riot police, outside of the studio, waiting to prosecute us ….

Greece 2013. 21th century. Welcome 1930! Welcome Medieval period …

I hope someone documents all these. Really .

I hope that someone of you, friends, fellows, companions, has documented all these and sometime will send them to us, to remember:

How the Motorolas of the police, who raided the studio of ERT were heard on air …

You cannot hear it, because the door has closed, but two squads of riot police still remain outside. I guess our time will come in a while …

I will dare and say that beyond the requisite, of everybody coming here, now, to Aghia Paraskevi, tomorrow, a big demonstration must be organized in the centre of Athens. A grand demonstration! Or directly in Aghia Paraskevi. Maybe it’s better here in Aghia Paraskevi.

I do not want to take now, the responsibility and call for a demonstration at some place, especially since I do not know where we will be those of us who are currently in here… But it is very easy to be arranged through social media …

To take the hand of the stranger and stand by his side! Because we stood on the same street together! Because we gave the same fight together! For all these reasons, a great demonstration should take place tomorrow! But we also ask you to come to Aghia Paraskevi now, to come to the Radio Hall!

*Τη φράση «ψυχή βαθιά»(«deep soul») την χρησιμοποιούσαν, όπως λέγεται, οι αντάρτες του Εθνικού Λαϊκού Απελευθερωτικού Στρατού (Ε.Λ.Α.Σ) επί ελληνικής Κατοχής (1941-1944). Συγκεκριμένα, η έκφραση αυτή είχε γίνει το μότο μεταξύ των ανταρτών του 2ου Συντάγματος του ΕΛΑΣ της δεύτερης Μεραρχίας Αττικοβοιωτίας και μάλιστα από τότε που σαν 5ο Ανεξάρτητο Τάγμα Παρνασσίδας ανέλαβε τη στρατιωτική του διοίκηση ο ταγματάρχης Μιχάλης Παπαζήσης από την Κοζάνη. Ο Παπαζήσης είναι αυτός που πρωτοείπε τη φράση «ψυχή βαθιά!», …Kαβάλα στ’ άλογό του, κραδαίνοντας στο ένα του χέρι το αχώριστο παγούρι του με το τσίπουρο κι αψηφώντας τις εχθρικές σφαίρες εμψύχωνε στις μάχες τους μαχητές του ΕΛΑΣίτες βροντοφωνάζοντας:
Εμπρός, παλικάρια μου, εμπρός παιδιά μου, ψυχή βαθιά!

Άλλη εκδοχή, από τον Marx Factor είναι πως «ήταν ενας εργάτης τροτσκιστής που είχε «ξεμείνει» στο ΚΚΕ μετά τις εκκαθαρίσεις των τροτσκιστών και σε μια απεργία τον πιάσαν τον βάλαν φυλακή και οταν βγήκε σκότωσε τον δεσμοφύλακα… τότε το κόμα τον φυγάδευσε στην Ισπανία και πηρε μέρος στον Εμφύλιο… επειδη ομως ηταν τροτσκιστης τον «φαγανε». Η επίσημη βέβαια άποψη του ΚΚΕ ειναι ότι σκοτώθηκε στον Ισπανικό Εμφύλιο Πόλεμο… Ενας αγράμματος εργάτης επαναστάτης ητανε ο Μπεζεντάκος. Μετά κακώς και απο τους θολοκουλτουρέ σκηνοθέτες της αναθεωρητικης «αριστεράς» η φράση «κόλλησε» στον Ελληνικο Εμφύλιο από τον σκηνοθέτη Παντελή Βούλγαρη στη γνωστή ομώνυμη ταινία. Αλλά ο Μπεζεντάκος δεν ζούσε ηδη…δ εν έζησε καν να δει την αρχη του Β’ Παγκοσμίου. Τέλος πάντως αυτό ειναι ιστορία και μάλιστα των αριστερών… εγω απλα διαβάζω …ολονών τις απόψεις και εφτιαξα τη δική μου… το «Ψυχή, Βαθιά» το πε ο Μπεζεντάκος πριν σκοτώσει τον δεσμοφύλακα που τους βασάνιζε οσο ήταν μέσα…»

Όσο για μενα, πιστεύω ότι ο καλλιτέχνης, έκανε καλά που έβαλε τίτλο στην ταινία του το «Ψυχή βαθιά» κι ας μίλαγε για τον εμφύλιο. Γιατί αυτή η φράση, είναι πάνω και πέρα από γεγονότα, εκφράζει ποιητικά όσο και φιλοσοφικά, ό,τι θά πρεπε να είναι η ίδια η ζωή, ο ίδιος ο αγώνας για μια ζωή που θα την τιμούσαμε…
